Model 5180N -Electro Permanent Lifting Magnet

Electro-Permanent-Lifting-Magnets 5180N are used where ferromagnetic parts need to be lifted and transported safely. The integrated double magnet system achieves high lifting forces with a low magnet weight. Thanks to the excellent depth effect , larger air gaps can be bridged. The type 5180N is therefore particularly suitable for transporting flat workpieces such as heavy plates, slabs and large machine components. Clamping and releasing the ferromagnetic parts from the electro-permanent lifting magnet is carried out with a short current pulse that activates or deactivates the permanent magnet system. This pulse control ensures low energy consumption with minimal self-heating.
