Model 6 GF series -Submersible Motor

Submersible motor 6” GF series Series of water filled submersible motors with encapsulated (canned) stator and rotor for installation in 6” (150 mm or more) diameter wells. The motor is supplied pre-filled with a coolant (entirely non-toxic) consisting of a water + propylene glycol mixture with anti-oxidant, lubricating and anti-freeze functions (up to -15 °C). The thrust bearing unit and the radial bearings are lubricated by the liquid inside while a membrane ensures variation of the liquid volume as well as pressure compensation. The electric power cable is connected to the motor by means of a watertight removable connector. A mechanical seal together with a special sand-guard ensures operation also in the presence of sandy waters; a silicon carbide SIC/SIC seal and a temperature sensor can be fitted as optional.
