Mud Cat - Model 815 - Diesel Powered Auger Dredge

The man-operated Mud CatT 815 features a 225 HP diesel-powered power unit and a hydrostatic high-pressure circuit to drive a submersible pump equipped with a centrifugal vortex style impeller passing 6-inch solids. Principal features include a high-torque single motor horizontal cutter assembly, a triple sheaved traverse winch, and a cylinder controlled elevation linkage for the cutter assembly. The Mud Cat 815’s flotation system is comprised of baffled 10 gauge steel pontoons filled with two-pound density foam and matched with a heavy-duty structural steel frame coated with epoxy paint. A comfortable heated and air conditioned operator cab includes fingertip controls for travel and pump speed.
