Model BG2K -Battery Guard
BG2K constantly monitors the available battery voltage when the engine is not running, if the battery voltage falls below 24.1V (or 12.1V), a voltage sensitive timer in BG2K ECU is triggered. If the battery voltage remains below 24.1V uniformly for a full 4 minutes, the ECU will pulse the latching relay and the battery will be isolated to guarantee the starting power.
At this stage, there will be no power for ignition, the vehicle operator must press the flashing reset switch and start the engine. BG2K also offer manual disconnect function via reset switch, simply press the switch for 2seconds, the batteries will be isolated. During engine running, the disconnect function will be inhibited. And, a good feature is the current draw by BG2K during isolation is almost ZERO offering thorough protection to your battery.
