Single phase motor/pump protection and control for direct start up.It is a well-known fact that, unlike threephase motors, single phase motors have a starting torque which is a fraction of the rated torque, thereby encountering starting problems in certain situations; to solve this problem, Tesla offers a range of Booster panels, known as CSCR, characterized by a double capacitor and a voltmetric relay; when a certain voltage is reached on the second capacitor the voltmetric relay deactivates the electrolytic capacitor C2. Unlike those of other manufacturers, the Booster panels do not require motors in special execution but are coupled with standard Tesla motors, thereby allowing excellent savings in terms of optimization of products in stock.
