CASING is of high-grade cast iron with parabolic cross section. Suction inlet is designer for proper velocity and entrance angle to guarantee quiet operation. Boss for tappings is provided for both discharge and suction gauges. BRONZE CASING WEARING RINGS prevent wear and ensure low cost maintenance. IMPELLER of Bronze is enclosed type, cast in one piece, carefully balanced and has smooth water passages for maximum performance. Hydraulic balance assures minimum load on motor bearings. CARBON STEEL SHAFT is designed for minimum deflection at the mechanical seal face and minimum vibration at all speeds. Impeller is secured by stainless steel cap screw and lockwasher.
