Company PONAST s.r.o. was founded as a purely Czech company in 1992. Company PONAST s.r.o. belongs to the group of small and medium enterprises.

During its existence, the range of production gradually changed and evolved. At the beginning the company was focused on the area of railway technology. In the period from 1995 to 1998 was the main production the delivery and installation of telecommunication networks. Since 1999, the company specializes primarily in machinery production. The ever-increasing part of this production was during these years manufacturing of automatic boilers for combustion of wood pellets.

In 1995 the company acquired its operating area “Na Potuckách” in Valašské Mezirící and later, in 1999 company invested in the acquisition of the second area in the street Šafaríkova.

Production of boilers that meet customer demands for modern and environmentally friendly heating system is based on the development that takes place in the company continuously since 2000. The company manufactures several boilers series divided primarily by rated power, power range, efficiency and emission parameters. Development is constantly adapting current market trends and current customer requirements.

The entire product range of the company PONAST includes also “aqua program” (especially underground hydrants and accessories), services for railway companies (rope connections and shackles, rail contact system, security locks and cover steel products), services in the construction and reconstruction of cable networks and engineering services, including surface treatment of metals.
