In a perfect world, bulk materials would flow freely, and under the right conditions, many do. Unfortunately, certain products, like dried distillers’ grains (DDGs), corn gluten, soybean meal, wheat midds, and other fine materials can cake and hang up inside truck and railcar hoppers, creating a nightmare for loadout facilities.

The HopperPopper by Pneumat Systems re-fluidizes caked and compacted product with high-volume blasts of pressurized air. The operator maneuvers a powerful hydraulically-driven probe inside the hopper trailer, releasing air blasts as needed to open a flow channel and clear away bridges and hang-ups.
