Model MDS-26GTE -Mobile Shredding Trucks
The MDS-26GTE offers all the features of Shred-Tech’s popular MDS-26GT but with electric power. The MDS- 26GTE will get the job done at the customers site or by plugging it in at your facility. While plugged in, the MDS-26GTE will shred at a fraction of the cost of diesel fuel while giving you the additional option of operating indoors without the production of environmentally harmful emissions.
Shredder
The MDS-26GTE features Shred-Tech’s proven, electrically driven ST-15E shredder and compactor.
The Shore Power feature allows operators to power up electrically with the engine off. That means quiet operation without using fuel or producing emissions.
The ST-15E features Shred-Tech’s patent pending Cast-In Cleaning Fingers and a Bridgeless Feed Hopper.
Bin Tunnel and Controls
The MDS-26GTE is equipped with Shred-Tech’s patent pending Gripper Tipper bin tunnel loading system. The Gripper Tipper allows for quick and easy loading of all industry standard containers and ensures materials are protected from environmental elements such as wind and rain.
The state of the art Plus 1 micro-control system with advanced intelligence is powerful enough to allow remote diagnostics, advance predictive idle and auto-shutdown while remaining easy to use.
Auger Compactor and Auto Unloading
The MDS-26GTE comes equipped with Shred-Tech’s angled compactor design and durable moving floor unloading system. Together, these features ensure rapid discharge of shredded material equating to more time on-route shredding paper and generating revenue.
Environmental Stewardship
The MDS-26GTE meets the EPA’s strict new low emissions standards and operates on ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel) or B5 Biodiesel fuel. The MDS-26GTE is also equipped with Shred- Tech’s Predictive Idle with auto shutdown and remote panel start/stop. Predictive Idle senses low shredder loads and shuts off the high engine idle when the shredder is unattended and the hopper is empty. Moments later the PTO’s are turned off along with the engine. This means never wasting fuel and engine hours.
