Model MRM1500 X21 -Intelligent, Modular & Highly Flexible, Add-Drop Multiplexer

The MRM1500 is an intelligent, modular and highly flexible, Add-Drop Multiplexer which provides a full range of audio, voice telephony (POTS) and digital data services to end users needing to establish a link over an X.21 circuit. Operating at line side data rates up to 1.5Mbit/s, the X.21 interface makes the MRM1500 compatible with a large range of terminal devices (routers, switches etc) and transmission equipment. It is ideal for use with Westica’s range of microwave radios, but connection to copper and fibre wireline networks is also possible.

The MRM1500 Add-Drop X21 Multiplexer is an easy to configure, modular package based around a single 19” shelf including user slots for up to eight Service Delivery Modules (SDM`s). Should more service delivery modules be required, expansion shelves can be added. The user traffic is fully configurable over either East or West transmission ports, with software configured flexibility permitting Add-Drop, Dual-Path Protection or Ring-Protection modes.
