Stanley - Model 400/K500 -Monel Flanges

Robert Crooks first coined the term Monel. Monel400/K500 flanges a nickel copper-alloy which is also called UNS N04400. It is typically a rigid-solution alloy that is hardened by cold working. Monel 400 Flanges forms a single solid structure that consists of two joined crystalline solid. At the same time, Monel K-500 age-hardenable copper-nickel alloy combines corrosion-resistant features of alloy 400 with erosion resistance and high strength stress. With the additional support of titanium and aluminum, the Monel K-500 triggered hardened.

These Grades of flanges provide excellent resistance against corrosive and crevice environments, execute impressive mechanical properties at below zero temperatures and show high tensile strength.

Several variations of an alloy may contain nearly 29-34% of copper, 63% nickel, 1.5-2% manganese, and almost 2% of iron. Some amounts of nickel and copper get encompassed automatically by the result. Alloy K500 has approximately three times higher efficiency and twice times tensile strength as 400.
