motrona - Model DS240 Series -Safety Monitors with SinCos Encoder
The DS240 series from motrona is a lineup of certified safety monitors designed to interface with sine cosine encoders or sensors, tailored for SIL3/PLe safety applications. The DS240 is distinguished by its integration of a relay, four transistor outputs, and an analogue output, complemented by a signal distributor. As an alternative, the DS246 omits the signal splitter, allowing for cost-effective solutions where such functionality is not required. These monitors are engineered for precision in handling speed and standstill detection across diverse industrial environments, including wind towers. They employ a modular design enabling flexible functional expansion and seamless parameter replication across similar devices. With firmware compatibility spanning from Win 8.1 upwards, they reinforce operational reliability within safety-critical systems.
The DS240 - 246 series devices are designed to connect to a SIL3/PLe certified sine cosine encoder or sensor. The DS240 is equipped with a relay, 4 transistor outputs, an analogue output and a signal distributor. The DS246 is an alternative version without a signal splitter.
