MTS - Model S100 -Optical Sorter
The optical sorters of the “S100” series are manufactured on stainless steel frame with a high resistance to corrosion. Both the electronic control and the cutting-edge detecting optical system assure an accurate, precise sorting; the user-friendly equipment allows for fast calibrations and allows the user to determine the level of chromatic tolerance of fruits passing through.
All optical sorters are equipped with the innovative scanning viewing system of color and material. This instrument – fruit of in-depth research studies – assures a very accurate sorting to the user.
Fruits are distributed onto the machine feeding belt to be then scanned by the video cameras placed so as to cover the whole belt width. In fractions of one thousand of a second the material is viewed by the system and declared to be “suitable” or “unsuitable”. Should the latter be the case, it is rejected by the smart ejectors positioned on the lower pneumatic unit which hit the polluting material with a millimetric precision by ejecting it. All the suitable material is saved and goes on toward the following stations.
MTS optical sorters read both the color and the organic mass of produce, so that only the produce declared to be suitable by the user are detected. In this way a pollutant-free high-quality sorting is assured.
All sorters feature the following:
Ethernet connection for remote access and control – Direct connection with PLC – Operation through 24V or 12V power supply; the equipment automatically sets on the received voltage – Very low electrical absorption (for a 50-channel machine the absorption equals 0.2 A) – Degree of protection of the electronic unit IP67.
