Apoaqua - Multi Disc Sludge Dewatering Screw Press for Rainwater Treatment
In recent years, multi disc screw press has experienced significant development and promotion worldwide. Compared with traditional sludge dewatering equipment, the screw press has the characteristics of nonclogging, low energy and water consumption, and fully automatic operation. The case shared this time is a municipal sewage treatment plant. Its daily processing capacity is 50000 cubic meters per day. The sludge dewatering system adopts Apoaqu’s three ApoMul models of multi disc screw press and dosing devices as supporting equipment. The sludge and chemicals coagulate in the flocculation mixing tank and enter the dewatering body. After being treated by screw press, the water content of the discharged sludge can reach below 80%. This series of equipment is often used in the treatment process of urban rainwater and sewage.

- Fully automatic operation, no need for manual duty. The multi disc screw press can be remotely started and stopped with just one click. Easy to operate and effortless.
- It can save electricity and has extremely low operating costs. The rotational speed of the spiral shaft is only 2-4r/min, and the power of a single equipment is less than 5kW. Its average energy consumption is about 1/8 of that of a belt conveyor and 1/20 of that of a centrifuge.
- Screw overlay welding ultra wear-resistant hard alloy layer. Its welding thickness is 100-150 times that of ordinary spraying technology. Significantly extend the service life of the equipment.
- CFRP rings have excellent wear resistance. The 2-year replacement rate of the ring is less than 5%, and the service life is more than twice that of traditional stainless steel 304. Save maintenance costs.
- The CFRP ring does not react with acid, alkali, or salt. When dealing with corrosive materials, it has high-quality corrosion resistance performance. CFRP rings improve product performance compared to 316 or even duplex steel rings. At the same time, it can reduce investment costs.
