airmoCAL - Model M -Multi-Oven Calibration System (5U)
Designed for automatic validation of results at different concentration levels.
airmoCAL-M is composed of three ovens and two Mass Flow Controllers (MFC to control air and cylinder flow input) for a better control of the dilution system. This fully automatic device allows the calibration and validation of results with different permeation tubes and cylinder depending on the application (ambient air, natural gas, process efficiency …). Due to the MFCs, an accurate control of the dilution flow is achieved which allows a high precision and reproducibility of calibration concentration. It is possible with such system to have linearity with several dilution points (up to 16 measuring points). The ovens were designed to be adapted to different permeation tubes size (ovens dimensions: 50 × 185 mm).
- CALIB: Sample generated by 3 permeation ovens. Each permeation oven contains up to 3 certified permeation tubes (e.g.: N-Butane, N-Hexane, Benzene, H2S, DMS…). Other permeation tubes are available upon request; a maximum of 6 tubes may be placed in one permeation oven. ZERO: Sample of dilution gas (Zero Air or pure N2) to verify the quality of the dilution gas or for analyzer cleaning.
- CYLINDER: Sample from an external calibration cylinder. AirmoCAL-M has a sample inlet on which a calibration cylinder may be connected. The pressure is automatically regulated at 1 Bar. Linearity tests on chemicals from cylinder can be carried out (e.g.: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%)
- Ambient air: Sample from the analyzer (ambient air)
Chromatotec® developed software system enables:

- Data export by MODBUS / JBUS / MGS1 / 4-20mA / 0-10V
- Control and display of the three temperature ovens and two MassFlow Controllers flows
