The UV-C ozone method for purifying circulating air works by directing interior airflow over special lamps that produce UV-C and ozone. Their radiation transforms natural oxygen into ozone, which combines with odors and germs in the air; the organic substances are oxidized. Because ozone is a gas at room temperature, both indoor air as well as surfaces are rid of germs – even in places otherwise difficult to access.
The MultiAir 250 system can be operated in continuous operation mode, i.e., with the presence of people in the room, as well as in “disinfection mode,” i.e., without people in the room. The device is equipped with a key-operated switch, so this process (disinfection) can be engaged only in the corresponding key position.
