The Captor is a multihull catamaran-type vessel whose main function is to collect and store sargassum and other floating debris. The process of collecting floating waste and algae is carried out by means of a retro-type shovel at the bow of the vessel. This shovel maintains a vertical path without exceeding the bow to improve the approach of this in marshes and places of difficult access.For the storage of the collected waste, it is unloaded into a container or big-bag, located on deck. These are then collected on land.These vessels also have a 500-litre tank on each side for the collection of sewage and grey water.
