For many people, clean, healthy drinking water is just another drink selection, bottled and sold at the local supermarket or vending machine. It comes in a sealed plastic bottle, so it must be better than tap water, right? Or at home, pouring tap water through a special pitcher with a little filter inside should be good enough to treat the water. Perhaps attaching a little filter dongle to the faucet will do the trick.
The thing is, truly cleaner, healthier water takes a bit more than just that. It takes more than buying a case of plastic-enclosed bottled tap water. It takes more than simple, inexpensive pitchers or filters that don’t do much beyond making the water taste a little cleaner.
