MX - Fire Extinguishing System for Transformer Pits
For pits located underneath high voltage transformers (63 to 400 kV). To bring transformers into compliance with the applicable fire prevention regulations. Permanently replaces the formerly used pebble beds. Pit renovation or new installations. Quick to install. Dielectric oils are quickly drained into the pit. Design
- Patented fire extinguishing system composed of a set of factory-assembled galvanised steel baffle plates 1.5 mm thick galvanised steel baffle plates
- Copper or stainless steel grounding lug
- 5mm thick galvanised frame
- 30x30x30mm-thick galvanised grids placed over the baffles to enable maintenance of the equipment and allow personnel to access the area
Installation
- To be placed directly on the previously installed support beams and edge brackets
- The equipment must be installed by a company approved by AKHELEC to allow for insurance and delivery of a certificate of compliance
- Otherwise, an acceptance audit must be carried out for the AKHELEC warranty to be valid
Requirements
- In order to ensure the best possible protection, it is essential that you provide us with the civil works drawings of the pit to be equipped
