Natural Gas Sorbent Traps

The gold silica trap is designed for sampling and analysis of natural gas following ASTM D5954. The gold coated silica beads prevent organic compounds from collecting and allows for extremely low level analysis due to the near-complete absence of background mercury in gold. Our gold silica sorbent traps are pretreated and sealed prior to shipment to remove all traces of mercury. Analysis is done using atomic absorption with Zeeman background correction.
