Genesol - Model 61 -Neutral pH Membrane Cleaner - Organic & Inorganic Deposit Removal
Genesol 61 is a neutral pH cleaner ideally suited for the removal of organic & inorganic foulants from Reverse Osmosis and Nano- filtration membrane surfaces, particularly where the use of low & high pH cleaners may be limited due to Health and Safety or effluent disposal restrictions. The neutral pH of this product makes it particularly useful for cleaning cellulose acetate membranes.

Genesol 61 should be used as a 1-2% solution v/v of CIP solution and should be alternately soaked and recycled through the membrane system for 3-4 hours. Working with enhanced temperature will also improve the cleaning performance. For heavily fouled systems the cleaning period can be extended, including overnight soaking. After cleaning, the membrane system should be thoroughly flushed with permeate until the pH values of the feed and the discharge are the same.
Genesol 61 can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.
- Genesol 61 is a blend of organic acids & chelants with inhibitors to protect metal surfaces during cleaning. It is compatible with carbon steel and commonly used materials of construction.

- Available in 25 kg kegs, 220 kg drums and 1100 kg IBC.
