NexSens - Model X3-SUB -Submersible Data Logger
The X3-SUB is a rugged, self-powered remote data logging and telemetry system specifically designed for offshore use without fear of accidental flooding.
The X3-SUB is designed with Type 316 stainless steel, shock-mounted electronics and redundant seals. It can withstand extreme wave action, floods and underwater deployment to 200 ft./61m.
All connections are made with MCIL/MCBH wet-mate connectors. This removes the complications and errors associated with connecting individual wires.
The X3-SUB is supplied with an internal sealed lead acid battery for use with the CB-75 Data Buoy`s solar panels. Alternatively, the logger can operate from external 12 VDC power.
When communicating via wireless telemetry, measurement data streams directly to the WQData LIVE Web Datacenter.
Real-time telemetry options include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE cellular, and Iridium satellite. All communication modules are securely housed within the submersible enclosure, and a waterproof antenna is integrated on the top of the device.
The X3-SUB is configured with three sensor ports to interface with multi-parameter sondes, water quality sensors, temperature strings, Doppler velocity meters, water level sensors, and more. Supported sensor interfaces include SD-12, RS-485 and RS-232.
The CB-75 data buoy is designed to accommodate the NexSens X3-SUB submersible data logging system for unattended deployment in lakes, rivers, and coastal waters.
