Nexterra is continuously improving and expanding the capabilities of its gasification technology. This includes testing new fuels, improving gasifier performance, and developing unique applications and new products. Much of the work has been done at our Product Development Centre in Kamloops BC.

Nexterra is interested in developing partnerships to explore opportunities to use its core gasification and gas conditioning technologies as a platform for the development of high-value gases, fuels and chemicals from waste feedstocks.

In 2010, Nexterra entered into a research collaboration agreement with University of British Columbia to explore the production of advanced chemicals and products from gasification.
