Aqua Aire - Model AA500-35C NR -Nitrogen Reduction Concrete Aerobic Treatment Plants

Continuous aeration is provided by a linear air pump which delivers air through an air drop line. Wastewater enters the pretreatment compartment and gravity flows through a baffle into the aeration mixing zone. Aeration is continuously provided and released near the bottom of the chamber through two fine air diffusers. From the aeration zone, the wastewater passes to the clarification compartment for final separation of solids. Discharge of the clarified effluent occurs through a submerged tee assembly located below the clarifier surface to prevent discharge of solids that may float on the surface of the clarifier. The treated effluent then flows through an optional disinfection device. The effluent is then safely discharged by gravity flow or via an application pump, to a surface spray, subsurface drip, low pressure dose, absorptive mound or subsurface drain field. The result of the Aqua Aire^® process is a clear, odorless effluent discharge, which meets and exceeds state and national water quality standards.
