• Poly Cord is multi-purpose. Used to sew up seams, patch tears and secure netting to overhead supports.
• 1/8” black polyester braided cord.
• Poly Cord is sold in 100 Foot "Hanks" and in 1,000 Foot Spools.
• Does not replace perimeter cables – NOT for perimeter support.

Poly Cord Installation Specs:

• To sew up seams, weave the poly cord through the netting mesh every 6” along the overlap seam. Tie the poly cord to both layers of netting at both ends of the seam.
• To patch a damaged or torn section of netting, cut a new piece of netting that will cover the damaged area with an overlap of at least 6” on all sides. Weave the poly cord through the patch and netting every 6” along the overlap seam. Tie the poly cord to both layers of netting at both ends of the seam.
• For added overhead support, tie the poly cord to objects that will be above the installed level of the netting. Let the poly cord hang down past the where you expect the netting to be after installation. After installing the net, pull the poly cord through the net mesh and tie it to the netting.
• DO NOT USE POLY CORD FOR PERIMETER FASTENING.

When and Where to Use the Poly Cord:

• Use to sew up seams, patch tears and secure netting to overhead supports.
• Poly Cord is commonly used with the PollyNet and lighter nets like the crop nets and pond cover nets.

• When installing along seams or joining two long sections of netting together, overlap the netting at least 6” and weave the Poly Cord through both layers of netting every 6” along the seam.
• When cutting the Poly Cord use sharp scissors. Melt the cut ends with a lighter to prevent the cord from unravelling or fraying.
• Don’t cut the cord short – always leave more than you think you need.
