Nokra Alpha.tiModel 5.0 - Laser Measurement System for Thickness Measurement

SHARE

The alpha.ti 5.0 laser measurement system is designed for precise thickness measurement of wide metal strips, with applications in both process and finishing lines. The system features a C-frame configuration for cross profile measurements up to 2100 mm and supports depths of 500, 1000, 1500, and 2100 mm. Utilizing patented drift compensation technology, it ensures accurate and continuous measurement by recording the distance between C-bars with a precision of 0.5 µm. It is capable of capturing data at a high frequency of up to 67 kHz, allowing for precise measurement in both longitudinal and transverse directions over strips wider than two meters. This system is essential for maintaining consistent product quality during manufacturing, and its digital capabilities support efficient integration into modern production lines.

Patented drift compansation

The deformation sensor continuously records the distance between the two C-bars at the scanning frequency of the triangulation sensors with a precision of 0.5 µm. Any change is immediately compensated automatically. This allows C-frame designs with a measuring depth of more than 2 meters with constant measuring accuracy.
