nokra - Model alpha.hot3D -Laser Measurement System for Forged Parts
The alpha.hot3D laser measurement system is an advanced tool engineered for precision analysis of forged parts in industrial settings. Operating effectively in high-temperature environments, this system accurately measures the 3D contours of specimens reaching up to 1200°C. Its capability to predict cold dimensions just seconds after forging enables real-time process adjustments, minimizing production errors and enhancing efficiency. With an accuracy starting from ±25 μm, the system ensures the forming process is monitored and controlled promptly. It integrates seamlessly with a forging press, providing quick inline measurements by capturing components from the conveyor belt and evaluating them within seconds. Display results include comprehensive component characteristics and conformance assessments. Continuous tool wear monitoring and feature evaluation functionalities are also integral parts of this system. Utilizing nokra's laser light section sensors, it delivers precise 3D geometry assessments of forged specimens as they undergo a 360° rotation.
Micrometer-accurate prediction of cold dimensions in a matter of seconds after forging
Laser measures the entire 3D contour of forging specimens up to 1200°C hot
The alpha.hot3D system can predict the cold dimensions of a forged part in a matter of seconds after forging. This makes it possible to verify as early as the first few parts have been produced that the forming process is working without a hitch. If it is not, you can immediately take measures to adjust it.
The system can measure parts up to 1200°C hot, capturing their entire contour and calculating their cold dimensions with an accuracy starting from ±25 μm. Consequently, the system makes it possible for the operator to adjust the forging process in a matter of seconds after the first part has been formed.
