Nyx Technik Voltronyx - Model 330 -Reactor Electrophoresis Power Supply
Nyxtechnik’s line up of Voltronyx brand power supplies from GMI are setting the new standard in electrophoresis power supplies for research laboratories today. Two versions are available for the Voltronyx brand power supply. GMI can offer the Reactor 37 and the reactor 330. Both units are built in a rugged space saving chassis featuring a strong extruded aluminum case which allows you to stack unlimited units because of the strength of the unit. The Nyxtechnik Voltronyx Reactor 330 power supply from GMI has some added features over the alterative Reactor 37 model. Specifically the Reactor 330 power supply offers twice the power and offers up to 300 watts with the ability to go up to 3000 milli amps. This is perfect when you need to run gels faster or the additional power for more difficult separations. The reactor 330 runs in two different modes it will function as a standard power supply i.e. a constant power supply setup which is very similar to the Reactor 37 where you can adjust the voltage the amperage the wattage or time like a standard power supply:
- Voltage of up to 300 volts in increments of 1 volt
- Amperage of up to 700 milli amps available in increments of 1 milli amp
- Time to 999 minutes in increments of 1 minute
- The reactor 37 is a great all around multipurpose power-supply that designed to run the majority of you’re the horizontal and vertical gels you would be running in your molecular lab today.

Program mode is very similar to the operation of a Thermo Cycler in the program mode you have the ability to define 30 different programs or files. In those programs you get to have six different steps which allow you to have a voltage amperage wattage and time setting enabling you to run a “stair step” style profile simultaneously. You can store up to 30 within the unit. The beauty in this is that you can have one power supply that can do it all in your laboratory.
