OdorXit - Model AQM -Chlorine Dioxide Generator for Air Quality Enhancement
OdorXit AQM is designed to address common air quality issues caused by smoke, mold, and various odors in enclosed spaces. This product utilizes chlorine dioxide, a chemical compound generated via a reaction between citric acid and sodium chlorite, to effectively oxidize and neutralize unpleasant odors. The AQM packets come in different sizes, catering to rooms of varying surface areas, and can be used in either a 30-day mode for gradual odor elimination or a 1-day mode for fast treatment, specifically in car environments. The product operates optimally under specific humidity conditions, requiring at least 40% relative humidity for optimal gas generation. If humidity is insufficient, water can be added to facilitate chlorine dioxide production. Users should handle the product safely, as exposure to its dry components can cause irritation. OdorXit's approach ensures a safe and effective way to improve air quality without adverse health effects when used as directed.
Remove any cardboard, cardboard boxes, etc. from the room - They will suck up the AQM gas in the air, and the AQM will not work as intended as a mold and mildew inhibitor and general air quality improvement tool.
Calculate the surface area of the room/s you need to remove the smoke smell from. For rooms 1,000 cubic. ft. of surface area or less that have no furniture, a single 10 gram packet will be sufficient. A 10 gram packet will normally treat two normal size bedrooms. A 25gram packet will normally treat a living room, kitchen and dining room.

- Place the AQM Packet in a corner of the room.
- Open the silver packet.
- Remove the white pouch and place it back into the clear, self adhesive protector.
- Place the clear self-adhesive protector behind a small fan set on low.
4′ in diameter is big enough. A 4” or 6” fan is a good size. A larger or celling fan can also be used but kept on low speed. You’ll just want it to move around the gas the AQM packet creates. The gas must come in contact with all the smoke residue left on the walls – This is the final step on how to remove smoke odor from the house. A ceiling fan will do as well. Place it on low and in the ‘winter’ position – pulling the air UP from the floor.
