The HBSO range of Level Switches is designed to detect common lubricating oils in gas and air. Typically installed in compressors and oil separators, these switches can also be used in other locations where oil detection is required.

  • Liquid temperature range: Operate across a temperature range of 0°C to 100°C (32°F to 212°F), with different models offering varying sensitivity levels.
    • The HBSO1 is a highly sensitive switch that suits most applications, including CO2 systems.
    • The HBSO2 is less sensitive, making it ideal for PAG oils and some POE oils.
    • For ammonia heat pumps and applications where normal switches are too sensitive, the HBSO1/MT and HBSO2/MT provide a lower sensitivity option.
    • If higher temperatures are required, the HBSO-SSR/HT, with adjustable switch points, is designed for temperatures above 80°C (176°F).
  • Pressure tolerance: Rated for pressures up to 150 bar (2175 psi).
  • Power supply: The switch operates on a 24V AC/DC power supply.
  • Split design: Simplifies installation and diagnostics; electronic parts can be removed with two screws.
  • LED indicators: Provides visual feedback for status and operation.
