Oil Stop - Model SFB Series -Solid Float Boom

Oil Stop`s line of oil spill and floating debris containment boom includes the SFB Series. SFB (Solid Float Boom) is a conventional foam-filled curtain boom, which is widely used for combating oil spills. The flotation for the curtain booms are cylindrical foam logs, with diameters from 2 to 18 inch.

Tension Member Options:
- All models available with or without top tension cables.
- Standard ballast chains are galvanized steel. Sizes can be altered to suit a given application.
- Top cables are sheathed in vinyl tubing and carefully installed on the boom to assure proper performance as a tension member.
Seawater-Resistant Materials:
Metal components are either marine grade aluminum, galvanized steel, or stainless steel.
End Connectors:

Standard or heavy duty universal slide, or quick connect couplers are available.

Self-locking pins are standard for tool-free connection.

All connectors meet ASTM F-962 criteria.
