Omnisense - Model 500 Series -One-Pager Positioning System
The system is low cost, extremely flexible, and provides true position and behavioural information indoors and outdoors. Omnisense has created a new breed of wireless sensor network which enables real time geolocation capability to track people, animals and assets anywhere, without the need for permanent or preinstalled infrastructure.
Next Generation Positioning
The new Series 500 system consists of self-initialising devices which communicate with one another at 2.4GHz to form a mesh network. Each device knows where the others are in relative terms by measuring the time of arrival of radio signals from neighbours. The devices incorporate inertial sensors, LEDs and buttons and can also optionally carry external telemetry data.
