The process is simple. Our team of trained professionals arrive on-site to prepare target areas and position the MobileClO2 trailer unit. Application length and concentration is then determined, based on cubic footage of the facility and amount of the bioload. Once everything is in place, the MobileClO2 trailer unit generates chlorine dioxide gas and disperses it throughout the target area. Once the treatment is completed, facility operations can resume immediately.
Chlorine dioxide works by penetrating the cell wall of microorganisms and disrupting the pathogen’s metabolic functions, thus immediately and permanently eliminating the problem at its source. Chlorine dioxide is a powerful biocide at concentrations as low as 0.1 PPM over a wide pH range and is more effective than ammonia and chlorine with no hazardous by-products.
