Clorel® solution naturally has a pH value between 8.5 - 9.5, has no caustic ingredient and is a freshly used so its oxidation power is hihger than commercial chlorine.
Mussels, which are seen as the primary problem in seawater systems, develop resistance to the amount of chlorine used in shock chlorination or learn the shock chlorination periods, and thus close their mouths at that time and are not affected by chlorine.
For this reason, Kemisan PLC system (p.kem.v3) enables you to select shock chlorination periods with different frequencies, by developing the “obfuscatory calendar” method for shock chlorination automation.
