The resource circulation system that decomposes crosslinking of XLPE and transform it into recycled PE enables production of materials and products. Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) is used for versatile applications such as insulation of power cables, hot water and central heating piping, etc. XLPE, however, cannot be easily returned to its non-crosslinked state for reuse, and discarded scrap XLPE is incinerated or goes to landfill.
