ORBCON - Magnetic Separation Equipment
Orbcon provides high-quality magnetic separation solutions for various industrial applications. Their magnetic pulleys, designed to replace drive or deflection rollers at conveyor belt discharge points, cater to belt widths ranging from 300 to 1,600 mm. These pulleys can easily be retrofitted into existing systems and utilize ceramic magnets, including ferrite and neodymium, to generate a strong magnetic field. This capability ensures the efficient automatic separation of contaminants, particularly iron, from other materials. The magnetic drums offered by Orbcon excel in iron recovery and material purification. They are suited for medium to fine bulk solids and accommodate working widths between 350 and 2,200 mm. Some optional features include a brush system for enhanced cleaning of the magnetic drums. Applications span a variety of sectors, including waste management, construction, foundry operations, electronics recycling, and food processing.
