Orbital - Model 420-1 -Anemometer

Accurate measurements of wind speed are crucial for optimal control of the wind turbine. Orbital´s anemometer is calibrated by Force Technology to ensure trust-worthy wind measurements. The wind measurements from the anemometer will be transferred to the TMC3 wind turbine controller which use the measurements to optimize the wind turbine production.  The anemometer is compatible with the Orbital TMC3 wind turbine controller and also with anemometers from a long line of other manufacturers. 

Orbital´s anemometer ís produced of high quality brass. It provides a strong construction which lasts for years even under tough weather conditions. The anemometer can withstand wind speeds at tornado level and mostly survives strikes of lightning.  For wind turbine installations where temperatures often drop to zero, a heater will ensure the anemometer from freezing.
