Osso - Land Mud Cooler

AT OSSO, we design land rig mud cooling systems to cool drilling mud at surface in the harshest of environments where ambient temperatures can exceed 52Cº with high humidity and where down whole temperatures are in excess of 165Cº.

By combining our high volume (1000 gpm) high cooling surface area mud coolers with cooling towers or chiller systems we help clients decrease non-productive time (NPT) and enhance their drilling operations.

Our field proven land mud cooler systems reduce surface mud temperature to enable lower down hole temperature below the operating temperature of clients MWD and LWD.

Our mud coolers continue to improve, now in their 4th generation the plate pack design ensures increased cooling efficiencies through maximum contact of high temperature mud across the plates.

To date the highest mud weight through the OSSO mud cooler has been 2,3sg (19,2ppg) with 41% solids with no down time.
