Overton Mosquito - Model II -Pedestrian Controlled Weed Ripper
The Mosquito II by Nimos is a pedestrian controlled Weed Ripper, ideal for removing weeds and detritus from back edges, pathways and kerb sides etc, Alternative brushes can be used for removal of moss etc on block paving, tarmac and other sensitive surfaces. The Mosquito II removes the detritus as well as the weeds in which the weeds grow which gives a far greater period between regrowth. It can also be effective at removing hard packed snow and ice during winter periods.
Powered by a Honda GX160 OHV engine running on unleaded petrol with the Honda oil alert to protect the engine powering A Honda 6:1 reduction gearbox the machine is locked at low speed allowing the brush to rotate at between 220 and 250 rpm ensuring the brush causes minimal damage to surfaces and is quiet and incredibly economical. Foam filled puncture proof tyres are standard and although the machine is not self propelled the rotation of the brush aids the manoeuvrability.
The heavy duty rope brushes are in four segments and are supplied in a relatively small box for easy transportation and storage.
It proves to be an efficient, economic and environmentally friendly way of removing weeds from hard surfaces giving an immediate visual effect. Alternative brushes are available for different surfaces as an option.
