Oxygenator for Small and Large Treatment Plants
The oxygenator is used in the activation zones of the WWTP. Cleaning plants, which due to decomposed fats in activations, are crippled by an overgrowth of foam-forming, fibrous organisms, are usually treated with enzymatic XP 2001 Liquid. This product accelerates the splitting reaction of fats present in activations. In this process, it is essential that the fats broken down into unsaturated fatty acids with a low carbon number create a favorable environment for the reproduction of flocculent microorganisms, in the desired structure.
At the same time, unfavorable conditions for foam-forming bacteria are created in this metabolized environment. After this successful intervention, there is a smaller amount of flakes with an inappropriate structure in the activation. The correction of this fact takes about 20 days, or it is necessary to fill the activation with imported activated sludge. The oxygenator will replenish the missing bacteria and thereby reduce their deficit. The ramp-up of the WWTP to full operation will be significantly shortened. There will be a stabilization of the biocenosis in the WWTP activation zone. Subsequently, the separation properties of the activated sludge will be significantly improved, and COD will be reduced in the effluent from the WWTP. The oxygenator is used as an effective preparation in emergency situations and in case of long-term substance overload in the treatment plant. It is a good idea to prepare a sufficient supply of Oxygenator in case of sudden, emergency situations, and to use the product immediately when it occurs. The use of the Oxygenator minimizes damage during WWTP operational accidents and at the same time very quickly restores the smooth operation of the WWTP with the required parameters.
The oxygenator is very cheap, the application doses are low and therefore its use does not increase the operating costs of the WWTP.
In case of problems with the foaming of domestic COVs, we recommend regular dosing of our product XP2001 Liquid (approx. 25-50 ml 3 times a week).
