Ozone is a gas composed of 3 oxygen atoms (O3) which has the great capacity to oxidize and disinfect. It disinfects without chemical additives or detergents, exploiting its natural oxidizing force. Thanks to its weight, which is higher than air, ozone penetrates deeply without damaging the surfaces, objects and fabrics with which it comes into contact, reaching points that conventional cleaning or washing could not reach. As soon as ozone is released and comes into contact with organic matter, an oxidation reaction occurs, triggering a rapid process of disinfection and elimination of all living micro-organisms! After being used, the ozone delivered becomes 100% oxygen again without leaving traces or toxic or chemical residues. UVC technology has a long history in cleaning and purifying indoor air. Although UVC light can be used alone, it is often used in synergy with other technologies. Philips UVC lamps model TUV PL-L 24W / 4P 1CT / 25 have been chosen for their ability to guarantee quality, efficiency and safety of action at the same time. These lamps are composed of a specific glass which allows UVC to act correctly and safely by preventing the mercury contained inside the lamp from being wrongly transformed into ozone in the presence of people. Philips Lighting lamps are capable of destroying microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, moulds, yeasts and protozoa. They work by using a photolytic effect whereby radiation destroys or inactivates the microorganism before it replicates. UV-C radiation has demonstrated virucidal and germicidal properties, having the ability to modify the DNA or RNA of microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing and therefore being harmful. For this reason, it is used in various applications, such as air, water and food disinfection, and has been shown to be effective in reducing infections in hospitals and other facilities.

The adjustment system allows you at any time: to switch the device on and off, schedule weekly or daily cleaning (eg switch on Monday, Saturday and Sunday), program the time of switching on. (ex: power on at 6 p.m. every Sunday), set the duration of the treatment. (ex: turn on from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.).

Use of WindOzone UVC Plus.
It is advisable to install the device in a central position inside the room to be disinfected, free of objects that can obstruct the air inlets and the ozone outlet areas. WindOzone UVC Plus comes originally with a preset on/off program in memory. However, it is possible to customize and adjust the cycles according to your needs. Any human or animal presence is not recommended during the ozone treatment and the 40 minutes that follow.
