Disinfection Method

Close the window when disinfection, then the operator should leave the disinfection room immediately and close the door after the ozone disinfector is started, the disinfection time depends on the ozone concentration and the type of microorganisms killed. Generally the starting time is less than 60min. After disinfection reaches the preset time, turn off the ozone disinfector and wait for 30-60 min before the person can enter.

Ozone Concentration and Action Period

The ozone concentration should reach some level in air disinfection and will not be much higher, as the high concentration ozone will damage to goods indoor. Generally it should be 75%≤RH≤95% indoor and action is ≥30min. For instance, using 20mg/m3 ozone for 30 min, the killing rate to natural bacteria can reach over 90%.

The Principle of Selecting Ozone Concentration and Action Period

First, the disinfected microorganism types when it is aimed at the microorganism with strong resistance such as endospores, fungi, hydrophilic virus, tubercle bacillus and etc, which should have high ozone concentration and long action period. Second, refer to the temperature and relative humidity of disinfection environment. The disinfection effect is good with high temperature and relative humidity, then the ozone concentration and action period can be properly reduced.

Application Scope

The surface disinfection by ozone is applied in fabric, glassware, stainless steel, enamel, ceramics, plastics, wood and others.

Disinfection Requirements
Disinfection of the surface of substances with different volume ozone disinfection containers (including boxes, cabinets or bags). The disinfection box or cabinet must be sealed. Oxidation-resistant sealing is applied around the cabinet door to prevent ozone leakage. The material inside of the cabinet cannot overlap and contain dead corners. The ozone disinfection bag itself should be also sealed to prevent ozone leakage.

The contents to be disinfected should be cleaned to ensure that there is no oil, organic or salt pollution.

Disinfection Method
(1)Put the clean goods into disinfection container. (2)Start the disinfector and run up to the pre-set time. Do not open the door immediately after the disinfector is turned off. (3)Once you open the door, take out the goods after a certain period of shutdown.
Ozone Concentration Requirements

(1) Disinfection by ozone gas. The ozone will kill the microorganisms on the surface of the goods. The action is fast. It needs the below requirements to achieve the desired disinfection effect:60mg/L, relative humidity ≥70%, action 6min~10min (2) Disinfection by ozone water: the ozone concentration in water is >18mg/L, the action period is over 10 min. The ozone water is used to disinfect the clothes, hats and masks, the bed sheets and the quilt covers in hotel. It has significantly disinfects the washed goods.
Notes of Surface Disinfection

(1)The ozone concentration for surface disinfection is generally high. Therefore it is not suitable for rubber products. (2)Pay attention to the sealing of the disinfection cabinet. Check and repair immediately once a leakage is discovered.

Water Disinfection

The best dissolved ozone amount is 0.5~1.2mg/L. The contact period is no less than 10 min for the drinking water disinfection by ozone.
