Pagani - Automatic Self-Anchoring System
Our Penetrometers are equipped with an automatic self-anchoring system that solves the problems often limit the diffusion of Static Penetrometer techniques, considered as one of the most valid In Situ Testings for a correct identification of Soil Mechanics Characteristics.
The pushing force can be developed only if there is an equal counteracting force. Pagani Geotechnical Equipment penetrometers counteract the pushing force by means of a built-in system that allows a self-anchoring.
The anchoring device has been equipped whit a hydraulic motor driving the vertical motion of the whole device.
Such a device can eliminate all manual raising steps of the lift. The user can drive all functions necessary to the anchoring by operating the suitable levers.
Also the starting screw of the helicoids into the ground can be facilitated by the downwards push supplied bt the motor.
