The Pagani DS-44 is a thick-walled sampler with a
piston and it is driven into the ground by
hammering. The piston allows to take samples at the
depth required. The impact-hammer-driving system
minimizes adverse effects such as heating effect,
which occurs in sampling with rotation drive
systems.
