In addition, the S235 steel chassis of the PAKTOR Series 10 provides a very solid body: the bottom rests on a 6 mm thick sheet metal, while the sides and roof benefit from a 4 mm sheet metal. A 1650 × 300 mm balance beam is fitted to the aircraft, exerting a compaction pressure of 38 tonnes and ensuring a significant reduction in volumes.
Performance of the biowaste balancer
On the one hand, the 1400 × 1260 mm bucket facilitates loading, with an access height of 1500 mm. On the other hand, the compaction cycle lasts on average 27 seconds; it absorbs 1.15 m³ of waste in each pass. Two hydraulic cylinders (90 × 60 mm) fully operate the system, with a stroke of 620 mm, and receive their energy from a BPHP pump coupled to a 5.5 kW motor (three-phase voltage 220/380 V).

First, a reinforced rear closing system incorporates mechanically welded locks, a waterproof electrical box, and a hydraulic unit mounted on a sliding chassis.
