Paragon Robotics - Wireless Base Sensor and Control Device with External Antenna with DB13 Ambient light module
Our N series base devices can be configured with a secure RF protocol for wireless communication to our system gateways or optional wired interface using Ethernet and building networks for direct access to sensor and control device information. Sensor and control base devices coome standardwith a digital display for measurement readout, status and programming. All devices also have built in temperature and humidity sensors in addition to two (2) expansion ports for DB modules with options for 4 or 7 ports
DB modules and device expansion ports provide flexibility in configuring a custom solution to match your application requirements. The modules offer a broad range of built in sensors and controls as well as compatibility with external sensors, probes and instrumentation. N series devices gateways utilize a proprietary and secure RF wireless protocol to communicate with remote sensor and control devices throughout a building, campus or mulitple locations. System gateways are accessed through a wired Ethernet network connection and are cloud accessible with Internet enabled network connections.
One gateway is required for each site, and oversees each wireless network. It also relays communications between all wireless sensors and a connected PC or local network. On-board storage is used to store decades of logged data from the connected sensors in its wireless network. The gateway can be optionally configured to work with our HaloCloud service, allowing remote monitoring, control, and alarms for the entire system.
Sensor and control devices include internal storage for sensor data colllection and logging, Ethernet connection for access, expansion ports for DB sensor and control modules, battery backup and USB power. Available options for extended wireless range (external antenna), increased data storage through SD expansion card slot, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and increased number of expansion ports for DB sensor and control modules.
The expansion module model DB13 has a built in light, radiant energy (visible + IR) sensor. The DB13 has both visible light (lux) sensors as well as a total radiant energy (visible&IR) sensor. The sensor is perfect for indoor lighting studies and solar energy measurements for solar generation. It is also sensitive enough to monitor lighting system performance and light-harvesting operation. The DB13 module requires a single expansion port on the base device. Our DataRecorder and configuration utility software can be programmed to display the proper measurement units for each individual sensor input. In addition, remote email or text(SMS) alarm notifications can also be enabled with our HaloCloud service.
