PeerlessModel TU & TUT -Multi-stage Horizontal Split Case Centrifugal Pumps

SHARE
The Peerless TU and TUT centrifugal pumps are engineered for durable multi-stage performance within a horizontal split case design. TU pumps feature a two-stage configuration, while the TUT models extend functionality with three, four, or five stages. These pumps can handle capacities as high as 6,000 gpm, reach heads of up to 1,600 feet, and operate under pressures up to 700 psi. They are capable of managing water and clear liquids at temperatures up to 300°F. Standard models are constructed with class 40 cast iron and bronze materials, with options for alternative materials. Precision elements such as dynamically balanced, enclosed type, single suction bronze impellers, and bronze, renewable casing rings ensure low vibration and prolonged bearing life. These features, along with integral bearing bracket supports, guarantee enduring alignment of bearings and rotating components, catering to commercial, process, industrial, and municipal applications.

The Peerless TU or TUT pump is a cast iron, bronze-fitted, multi-stage, horizontal split case design. Type TU pumps are a two-stage design, while TUT pumps are three, four and five stage.

The multi-stage pump casing material is a minimum of class 40 cast iron. Alternate volutes are reversed, balancing transverse pressures on running members. The bearing bracket supports are cast integral with the lower casing half for permanent alignment of bearings and all rotating parts. Bronze, renewable casing rings are doweled and shouldered in the casing. Cast bronze, enclosed type, single suction impellers are carefully machined and are dynamically balanced for vibration-free performance and longer bearing life. Impellers are keyed to the shaft for positive driving. Bronze impeller wear rings are available on the TU and TUT type pumps.
