PerpetuSet
PerpetuSet is an epoxy resin designed to set up quickly even on wet surfaces. Developed for use as an ambient curing epoxy resin for sewer pipe point repairs, PerpetuSet bonds strongly to almost any material in about an hour.It is chemical resistant and has great wetting characteristics when used with most reinforcing fiber cloths (fiberglass, aramid, carbon fiber). This give technicians plenty of time to complete the repair and place the system back in to service in a timely manner. It can be used with almost any reinforcing fibers to produce a watertight composite that can restore strength and stop corrosion.
Typical application is point repair of waste water sewer pipes, but can be used in just about any application that requires a high strength, quick setting, and corrosion resistant resin. PerpetuSet hast been used to repair and reinforce structures when combined with a high strength textile like carbon fiber. It can also be used as a general industrial adhesive. PerpetuSet set is not designed for use in or around high temperature applications (150+ ºF) and should not be used in to repair life saving equipment.
