Phibro CertiPhied - Quality Control Program System
Phibro CertiPhied is a quality control program designed to provide assurance that all Phibro products meet the superior performance standard for biofuels. Each and every lot of yeast is tested for fermentation KPI’s to ensure lot-to-lot consistency.
Phibro CertiPhied Program: 3 Tier Commitment
Tier One: Phibro’s Certificate of Analysis (COA) includes yeast quality metrics such as live yeast, fungal and bacterial contamination counts, and sensory measurements.
Tier Two: Each and every lot is also tested for fermentation Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) at 48 and 72 hours. In total, nearly 20 properties are examined for each lot. Every KPI has stringent specifications for acceptability, helping to ensure lot-to-lot consistency.
Tier Three: Periodic stress testing of lots is completed to ensure performance under high temperature and in the presence of organic acids.
