In October 2012, a novel "Space & Media Saver" 95x13.5mm/90x13.5mm had been added to our Petri dish lines. The design offers savings in the amount of media used per plate as well as savings in space during incubation, storage and shipping.

In December 2012, we applied for a patent for our newest dual-use Contact Plate, ContactClik™ featuring break-through technology that allows the plate to be easily locked and reopened. The same innovative technology is being incorporated in PetriClik™ dual-use locking 100x15mm/90x15mm Petri dish and other sizes. The ContactClik™ is already being produced on a large scale.

All new designs, "Space & Media Saver", ContactClik™ and PetriClik™ incorporate a pre-treated surface ready for printing a barcode, lot number and other information.
